Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

Boxscored is a free, fan-created app run by one person. This policy is written in plain English because the same person who wrote it has to keep its promises. The short version: Boxscored collects the minimum needed to run the app, shows you no ads, and never sells your data.

What Boxscored collects

What Boxscored does not do

Who processes data on Boxscored's behalf

Boxscored runs on a small set of infrastructure providers, each of which processes data only to provide their service: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (sign-in and account email delivery), Google (only if you choose "Continue with Google"), and OneSignal (only if you enable push notifications). Baseball statistics are provided by MLB Advanced Media, L.P.; requests for stats do not include your identity.

Cookies and local storage

Boxscored uses browser storage for one purpose: keeping you signed in and remembering app settings on your device. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

Children

Boxscored is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact support and it will be removed.

Changes

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the change will be noted here with a new "last updated" date — and material changes will be announced in the app, not buried.
